The first step is installing the plugin on your WordPress website.

    How to install the plugin:

    1. Log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
    2. In the left menu, go to Plugins → Add New.
    3. In the search bar, type All-in-One Podcasting.
    4. When the plugin appears, click Install Now.
    5. After installation finishes, click Activate.

    What happens next?

Once activated, a new Podcasts menu will appear in your WordPress dashboard. This is where you will manage everything related to your podcasts.

Now that the plugin is ready, the next step is choosing whether to import an existing podcast or create a new one.

Step 2: Import an Existing Podcast via RSS (Optional)

If you already have an existing podcast, import it using RSS. Otherwise, you can skip this step and move directly to Step 3 to create a new podcast.

If you already host your podcast on another platform such as Spotify, Buzzsprout, Libsyn, or Anchor, you can bring it into WordPress instantly using your RSS feed.

    To import your existing podcast:

    1. Go to Podcasts → Dashboard.
    2. Scroll down until you find Import Podcast from RSS Feed.
    3. Paste your podcast RSS feed URL into the RSS Feed URL field.

    Optional settings:

    • Set Featured Image – Automatically imports artwork from your RSS feed and sets it as the featured image for the imported podcast.
    • Auto-update Episodes – Automatically fetches newly published episodes in the future.
    1. Click Import My Podcast.

    After import:

Your imported content will automatically appear in:

    • Podcasts → All Podcasts
    • Podcasts → All Episodes

You can edit imported podcasts and episodes anytime.

If you do not already have a podcast, continue to Step 3.

Step 3: Create a New Podcast from Scratch

If you are starting your first podcast, this is where your podcast begins.

    To create a new podcast:

    1. Go to Podcasts → Dashboard.
    2. Scroll to the Create New Podcast section.
    3. Click Start a New Podcast.

You will now enter the podcast setup screen.

    Fill in your podcast details:

    Here you can add:

    • Podcast title
    • Description / summary
    • Podcast categories
    • Cover artwork
    • Author information
    • Language settings
    • Participants / hosts
    • Subscribe buttons and follow links

Take your time completing these fields — these details help listeners discover and understand your show.

    When finished, click Publish.

Congratulations — your podcast is now created.

Step 4: Add Episodes to Your Podcast

Now that your podcast exists, it’s time to publish episodes your audience can listen to.

    To create a new episode:

    1. Go to Podcasts → Add New Episode.
    2. The episode editor page will open.

    Add episode information:

    Fill in:

    • Episode title
    • Episode description / show notes
    • Select which podcast it belongs to
    • Episode tags
    • Audio or video media file
    • Episode artwork

    Additional episode details:

    Your episode is now live.

Repeat this process for every new episode you create.

Step 5: Display Podcasts and Episodes on Your Website

Publishing episodes is only part of the process — now you need to show them on your website so visitors can listen.

The easiest way is using the built-in Shortcode Builder.

Generate a Shortcode to Display Podcast Content:

To begin, let’s create an Episodes List shortcode as an example:

    1. Go to Podcasts → Shortcode Builder.
    2. Select Episodes List as shortcode type.
    3. Choose filters such as:
    • Tags
    • Participants
    • Episode type

    Customize display settings:

    You may also adjust:

    • Display Options
    • Player Options
    • Filter Options
    1. Click Generate Shortcode.

Add the shortcode to a page:

    1. Copy the generated shortcode.
    2. Open the page or post where you want episodes displayed.
    3. Add a Shortcode block in WordPress editor.
    4. Paste the shortcode.
    5. Save or publish the page.

Your episodes will now appear on the frontend of your website.

Other shortcode types available in Shortcode Builder:

Besides Episodes List, you can also generate shortcodes for:

    • Podcasts List
    • Podcast Categories
    • Episode Tags
    • Participants

This allows you to display different types of podcast content across your website based on your needs.
