Sync Standard Podcast Categories (Recommended)
AiO Podcast Studio includes a Sync Standard Podcast Categories option that imports the standard podcast categories used by major podcast platforms.
This is recommended if you want to use industry-standard categories for your podcasts.
To import the standard categories:
- Navigate to Podcasts → Dashboard.
- Click the Sync Standard Podcast Categories button.
- Wait for the import process to complete.
Once finished, the standard podcast categories will be available on your website.
Note: This step is optional, but recommended. After importing the standard categories, you can start creating podcasts or create your own custom categories.
Create a New Category
To create a custom category:
- Navigate to Podcasts → Podcast Categories.
- Enter a category name.
- Optionally select a parent category.
- Click Add New Category.
Your new category is now ready to use.
Using Categories
When creating or editing a podcast, simply select the categories that best match your content.
Categories help you:
- Organize your podcasts.
- Improve content discovery.
- Make browsing easier for listeners.
