Using the Shortcode Builder, Gutenberg Blocks & Widgets

Assume that you have added categories, tags, participants, podcasts, and episodes in the plugin back-end. AiO Podcast Studio provides multiple methods to display content on the front-end. Choose the method that best fits your needs.

Using the Shortcode Builder from the Plugin

The front-end of AiO Podcast Studio is powered by shortcodes. While you can manually write shortcodes, the built-in Shortcode Builder makes it easy to generate them without remembering shortcode parameters.

Example of a Shortcode:
[aiopod_episodes]

When you add the above shortcode to your page or post, it will automatically display a list of podcast episodes.

Shortcodes can be customized using various attributes such as layout, filtering options, player settings, pagination, and more.

Steps to Use the Shortcode Builder:
  1. Navigate to Podcasts → Shortcode Builder in your WordPress Admin Dashboard.
  2. Select the shortcode type as Episodes List.
  3. Select the tags, participants, and episode type you want to display.
  4. Optionally configure the available Display Options, Player Options, and Filter Options.
  5. Click the Generate Shortcode button.
  6. Copy the generated shortcode.
  7. Paste it into a Shortcode block on any page or post.
